I used the layout button and changed my blog styling. It's useful to be able to move bits of information around, and tidy the blog (what an unattractive word that is) up a bit.
Personal styles and themes add a little bit of interest to the blog.
I also added some Gadgets - these are tools to help the viewer find information quickly, or to give information about me.
